Meanwhile, Flavius, thwarted by the destruction of the Bursa tunnel, turns to violence, plotting an assassination against Osman Bey during Orhan’s sword-girding ceremony. With obstacles cleared in the camp, Orhan Bey advances his ambitions, seizing Bursa and issuing his first threat to Iznik, setting the stage for a new era defined by his uncompromising stance against the Tekfur.
