Some Detective

Overview

Writer Hye-joo is trying her hand at a detective novel for the first time, but things aren’t going as she'd hoped. One day she receives a call from the mother of her ex-husband Tae-jae and sets out, beginning an unfamiliar journey. What follows is a series of encounters, some with people from Hye-joo's past and others arising from relationships in her present. These encounters may have little to do with her original purpose, taking her far off course. On a day she is supposed to meet her boyfriend, for instance, she never sees him and instead finds herself spending time with his son Yul-i and his friend Jong-i.
